This work is a paper-based tension sculpture. By stretching and connecting two pairs of elongated components within each square module, the paper transforms from a flat state into a three-dimensional form. When these tensioned modules are assembled together, they generate the continuous curved surface of the sculpture.

Although tension itself is invisible to the eye, it plays a crucial role in shaping the world we live in—for example, in the human muscular system, in the formation of landscapes, and in the way spiders spin silk to build their webs. By applying tension to bend flat sheets of paper, this work visualizes the remarkable power of tension in the creation of sculptural form.

本作品是一件紙質的拉力雕塑。它是透過拉伸並連接方形模組中的兩對長條形部件，使紙張從平面產生立體變形；再將這些拉力模組組合起來，便形成了這件三維曲面作品。

拉力雖然無法被肉眼直接看見，但在塑造我們所生存的世界中扮演著重要角色，例如人體肌肉系統的運作、大地地貌的形成、蜘蛛吐絲築巢等。本作品藉由運用拉力來彎曲平面紙張，以此讓拉力在雕塑塑形中的魅力得以被可視化呈現。
