In Psalm 119 in the Bible, King David wrote, “I will walk about in freedom, for I have sought out your precepts.”
It can be seen that:
Freedom can be obtained, and “I want” reflects the right of human to obtain freedom; freedom is not arbitrary, but grows under certain constraints.
In the eyes of King David, the oringin of freedom comes from the God outside of humanity. Following God’s precepts is not a restriction on human freedom, but a way to obtain it. This is different from the pleasure-oriented freedom brought by contemporary humanism.

大卫王在诗篇119篇中写道：“我要自由而行，因我素来考究你（上帝）的训词。”
可以看出，
自由是可以获取的，“我要”体现出人有得到自由的权利；自由并不是任意而为，而是在一定约束之下生长出来的。
在大卫王的眼里，自由的源头来自于人类之外的上帝。遵循上帝的训词不是对人的自由的限制，而是获得自由的途径。这与当代人本主义所带来的享乐式自由是不同的。

The body interacts with the world through the five senses and communicates with the soul through consciousness, willpower, choice, emotion, thought, imagination, and reason. The soul connects with the spirit through reverence for God, intuition, revelation, worship, hope, faith, admiration, and prayer. Ultimately, the energy source of the spirit is rooted in the reality of the God.
